Rare blood cancer is an extremely rare cancer. However, when it occurs, it can be deadly. It usually occurs when a person has cancer cells in their blood.

The only option is a bone marrow transplant. However, many people cannot undergo the procedure because of age, health, or other reasons.

It’s been almost eight years since my diagnosis. In that time, I’ve fought cancer, worked through treatment, and even had to have a double lung transplant.

The truth is, cancer changed me for the better. I know I’m not alone because I see many friends and family members dealing with their battles.
